By booking or participating in any tour or service provided by Yeyut Ethiopia Tour & Travel, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. About Us
Yeyut Ethiopia Tour & Travel is a tour operator based in Ethiopia, offering cultural, food-focused, adventure, and experiential travel services throughout the country.
2. Bookings & Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
- Written confirmation will be sent via email or invoice.
- We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.
3. Payments
- Payment terms are stated in your booking invoice or proposal.
- A deposit may be required to secure your reservation.
- Full payment must be completed before the tour start date unless otherwise agreed.
- Bank charges, transfer fees, and currency conversion costs are the client’s responsibility.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Client Cancellations
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- Refunds depend on the timing of cancellation and services already booked.
- Some services (permits, domestic flights, special events) may be non-refundable.
Company Cancellations
- We may cancel or modify tours due to events beyond our control.
- Where possible, alternative arrangements or refunds for unused services will be offered.
5. Changes to Itineraries
- Minor itinerary changes may occur due to weather, local conditions, or operational reasons.
- Significant changes will be communicated as early as possible.
- No refunds are provided for changes caused by circumstances beyond our control.
6. Travel Insurance
- Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.
- Insurance should cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
- We are not responsible for losses due to insufficient or missing insurance.
7. Passports, Visas & Health Requirements
- Clients are responsible for valid passports, visas, permits, and required vaccinations.
- We are not liable for denied entry, delays, or additional costs caused by improper documentation.
8. Client Responsibilities
- Respect Ethiopian laws, culture, and local customs.
- Follow the instructions of guides and tour leaders at all times.
- Disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
- Personal belongings are the client’s responsibility.
9. Health, Safety & Risk
- Travel in Ethiopia may involve risks, including remote locations and variable terrain.
- Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
- We are not liable for illness, injury, or accidents unless caused by proven negligence.
10. Liability & Limitations
- We act as an intermediary between clients and third-party service providers.
- We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of third parties.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service, as permitted by law.
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions.
12. Photography & Marketing
- Photos and videos may be taken during tours for promotional purposes.
- By joining a tour, you grant permission for their use unless you notify us in writing in advance.
13. Privacy & Data Protection
- Personal information is used only for booking, operational, and legal purposes.
- We do not share personal data except when necessary to deliver services or comply with the law.
14. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ethiopia.
- Any disputes shall be handled under Ethiopian jurisdiction.
